Fernie, BC - Tuesday, June 19th, 2007: In 2006, the Mountain Market, as one of twenty eight British Columbia farmers markets, participated in a University of Northern British Columbia Economic and Community Impacts study of BC Farmers Markets. The results were impressive, showing that B.C.’s farmers’ markets contribute $118.5 million annually to the provincial economy,and reflected the increasing role of farmers markets in local food systems and their contributions to British Columbia’s communities.

On Sundays in Rotary Park from 10am till 2pm, and Wednesdays July 20th, August 3rd, 17th and 31st in Downtown Fernie from 4pm to 8pm.
