Every September in Fernie, BC the best cooks in the city gather at CP Station Square, next to the Arts Station downtown, and showcase samples of their culinary skill. Local performers including musicians, singers, dancers and comedians display their talents on stage. And our local brewmeister from Fernie Brewery, along with a sommelier or two, provide refreshments.

This all happens at a little event we call the Taste of Fernie on Saturday, September 19th, 2009.

Biggest & Best Contest
Think you have the biggest or best home grown veggies, berries, herbs or flowers? Here's your chance to prove it! Join gardeners at the Taste of Fernie in a contest to see who really does have the biggest, best, tastiest, and most unusual garden produce in town.

All local gardeners are welcome to participate. No fees to enter. Entries must be dropped off by 3pm. Judging and awards will be completed by 5pm.
