For Vendors Only

Fernie Mountain Market aim’s to promote handmade and home made goods and therefore asks all vendors to display products that they make, bake, or grow. Each vendor must commit a minimum of 50% of your table space to something “you made it, you baked it, or you grew it”

The market runs from 10am till 2pm and you must be set up and run throughout the entire period. The market runs Sundays from Canada Day to the Labour Day weekend. We've got other special events that we can let you know about when you sign up to our vendor email newsletter when you register. See the bottom of this page to sign up.

Market fees are $10 a tent space (10 X 10) per week. All vendors must provide their own set up, and we recommend you come prepared for all the elements that our beautiful mountain setting can send our way. You can also pre-pay for the market season for a reduced rate of $80 (please note this excludes any special events eg. Taste of Fernie). Spaces are "first come, first serve", except for our season-long farmers whose spots are reserved.

Rotary Park is a beautiful spot, we ask that you do not park on the grass and use the designated parking areas provided for you. Vendor’s can “drop off” their set up before 9:30am and proceed to park their vehicle. Please arrange with the market coordinator if you have any special needs.

We are proud to be a member of the British Columbia Association of Farmers Markets. For more info on this great organization that supports farmers markets throughout BC, check this link http://www.bcfarmersmarket.org/web/index.htm

For new vendors: If you'd like to join us, please contact us and we will let you know if there is a need for the products/services you offer. We are happy to host vendors that would like to attend just a few markets a year. A market coordinator will be on site to assist with finding a spot, and visit you later in the day to collect the fees and to help you register as a vendor. Just ask a vendor nearby to pick us out from the crowd, we'll be glad to give you a hand.

For food vendors:All vendors selling food must comply with the 2007 Guidelines for the Sale of Foods at Temporary Food Markets. We highly recommend getting your FoodSafe certificate as well. For more details click here
